Hiking in the vineyards
Tip: 3 hikes1 circuit of 9 km of 2 hours from Saint Père,
1 circuit of 12 km of 3 hours from Sancerre
1 circuit of 13 km of 3 hours from Pouilly
These hiking trails are marked with explanatory panels, do not hesitate to ask us the documentation provided by the tourist office.
The Broc Trail, in the town of La Celle-sur-Loire, are two educational circuits on the theme of the Loire, its fauna and flora, and its relationship with humans. The explanation panels are in French and English. Follow the guide: it's Fiber, the Beaver! There is a 1 km trail and another 2.3 km trail.
The site can be visited all year (except hunting periods). Documentation available at the Tourist Office.

Marvy Pond
Created in the eighteenth century for fishing, the pond Marvy is now known for its environmental wealth. This site of 16 hectares of reedbeds, natural woodlands and poplar plantations has become a privileged place for the reproduction and wintering of many species of birds.
It has one of the three most important reed beds in Burgundy (spread over 4 ha) and is classified in the European NATURA 2000 program. This exceptional site is the resting point for several bird species in migration. The pochard, the Mallard duck, the duck Pilet or the Souchet pass through this pond.
The Little Egret, the Gray Heron or even the Martin Fisherman are observable all year round.
An observatory and presentation panels are placed, open access, on the dike of the pond along the small hiking trail (PR3). Do not forget your binoculars to watch the birds!
Tip: Bike ride for families-departing from the Mairie in Cosne
During this ride you will discover the banks of the Loire and the woods of Villechaud.

The Loire by bike
Between Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire and Pouilly-sur-Loire, along the Loire à Vélo, 40 km (round trip) on a secured route; for the more athletic, it is a beautiful circuit that allows you to travel the mythical "Loire à Vélo".
TIP: make the "Loire by bike" route and follow the signs from Cosne center!
From the Cosne tourist office, take rue Alphonse Baudin to reach the Loire bridge. Cross the river to the bridge of the small Loire.
Take the Loire route by bike heading south to the Pouilly-sur-Loire bridge.
Retrace the Loire and on your left, follow the banks of the Loire to the Pavilion of the Middle of the Loire.
For the return, take the same path in the opposite direction.
Electric bicycle rental
To discover the territory, vineyards, where to cycle the Loire by bike, it is possible to rent electric bikes at the Tourist Office.
VTCs and ATVs of various sizes are at your disposal, as well as helmets, saddlebags, baby carriers and a child trailer.

Several clubs are located on the Island of Cosne, coming from Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire.
The Marcel Renaud Club offers rentals of canoe and kayaks, free or framed, half-day or full day. Individuals but also sports groups.
A day of canoeing is a 19 km course and half a day 9 km.
Home: The hikes are possible all the year on reservation.
In June and September: the weekend, in July-August: every day, the rest of the year: on request.

Camargue Leisure Riding in Nièvre
The main activity of Manade Favrot is to share the pleasures of riding Camargue. The owners breed Camargue horses themselves. The cavalry is labeled Leisure by the National Stud.
The manade offers the pension for horses, the débourrage, demonstration monte Gardianne. She participates in many competitions and shows.

On board your cyclorail and the strength of your calves, you will pass bridges including one of 826m above the Loire to finish towards the vineyards and hills of Sancerrois. Take a 13 km round trip on the old Bourges-Cosne railway line.
